Creative minds: an anatomy of creativity, this is the title of the last book of Howard Gardner.
In this book, Gardner makes a study of 7 great geniuses of humanity. He highlights, for example, Picasso's visual-spatial abilities or Gandhi's non-violent approach to human conflict. Of all of them, it stands out that they sacrificed their personal lives for the sake of an all-consuming mission.
An anatomy of creativity through the lives of Freud, Einstein, Picasso, Stravinsky, Gandhi, Fliot, and Graham.
Gardner argues that the mind is structured in a series of multiple intelligences, instead of general intelligence. It stands out that there are at least 7 varieties (musical, logical-mathematical, visual, etc). In the book Gardner chooses prototypes of each variety.
A highly recommended book if you want to know another point of view on creativity and know the personalities of great characters in the history of mankind.
I'm interested.
I would like to read and this seems adequate to what I am looking for.
Thank you.
