10 qualities of famous people to be more creative

In this article we are going to try to find out what 10 qualities are important to become a more creative person.

To establish these 10 qualities I am going to base myself on the research of 10 people who have been recognized worldwide for their creative work within their trades. Let's check it out what personality traits helped you be more creative in your work and make a difference:

1) The perfectionism of Steve Jobs.

The founder of Apple was a tremendous perfectionist. On some occasion I have already spoken that perfectionism can be counterproductive in our lives because it prevents us from moving forward and stresses us. However, this characteristic is very common in the great characters of history who stood out for being the best at their job.

Steve Jobs's perfectionism left us with one of his most striking anecdotes of his life: Jobs even called Google to tell them that the yellow gradient in the second "O" was not quite right. Source.

Steve Jobs was the protagonist of one of the most motivational speeches circulating on the net:

2) Beethoven's tenacity.

Beethoven had a passion for music and his deafness did not prevent him from continuing to exercise his vocation. His deafness was progressive but he continued to compose such masterpieces as the Ninth Symphony. He had the music in his head and he composed from memory.

Without that tenacity, fueled by his great passion for music, Beethoven would have surrendered to this great adversity that deafness meant for a musician.

3) Walt Disney's self-confidence.

Walt Disney was hired to work at the newspaper The Star City Kansas. He was later fired from work for his "Lack of creativity". Years later, the Walt Disney Company would buy ABC, which owns The Kansas City Star. Isn't that ironic?

This setback and direct criticism of his personality did not affect him at all. He believed in himself and in its possibilities to create the greatest entertainment industry of humanity

4) The competitiveness of Henry Ford.

Two great characters in history chatting: Edison and Henry Ford.

A not very well known episode in the life of Henry Ford is that this man almost bought ferrariBut when the deal fell through, Henry Ford decided to build a car to crush the Italians, the Ford CT40. Source

Obviously, the years have shown that Ferrari is still the most luxurious and high-performance sports car, but this episode demonstrates that trait of Henry Ford's character that led him to become lord and master of the automobile industry.

5) Albert Einstein's passion for knowledge.

Albert Einstein would not have postulated his famous theory of relativity if he had not studied in depth those who before him already made great contributions in his field of study, such as Henri Poincaré and Hendrik Lorentz.

He read with great passion the popular science books of Aaron Bernstein.

This shows that without a great preparation based on the study, the talent is often spoiled.

6) The imagination of Leonardo Da Vinci.

Leonardo Da Vinci is considered the most talented man ever. Painter, inventor, sculptor, writer, ... However, what stands out the most about him was his imagination. His inventive capacity led him to create ideas that did not exist in his time, such as the helicopter, the submarine or the car.

7) The courage of Galileo Galilei.

Galileo Galilei was the first man to demonstrate and declare that the earth was not the center of the universe it only revolved around the sun. He was accused of heresy by the Catholic Church but started a great scientific revolution that was continued by Newton.

Many times in our jobs we must take risks, offer alternatives to the old known, despite the fact that these new ideas often go against what is postulated as the right thing to do.

8) The optimism of Stephen Hawking.

Stephen Hawking, despite his progressive illness, has not neglected his special personality endowed with great optimism and a keen sense of humor. I recently read that the only degenerative disease there is is sadness.

One of the most famous episodes in Hawking's life occurred on June 28, 2009 when he threw a party for future time travelers. As Hawking anticipated, no one attended it.

9) The courage of Salvador Dalí.

Dalí did not leave aside his eccentric personality despite the great worldwide fame it obtained. Surely, that eccentricity was part of his great talent. He didn't put her aside. He continued to be himself, maintaining his particular vision of life, in the face of criticism from many of his contemporaries.

10) Mozart's ability to learn.

Mozart is one of those people in whom his great talent was most noticed very early, with five years he was already composing his own musical works. However, his talent was fueled by his ability to learn from the great musical masters of his day.

Mozart, like Dalí, incorporated his eccentric personality into the development of his great talent.
