Saturday night saw an excellent moment of fair play in the German Bundesliga. It happened in the match between Nurnberg and Werder Bremen.
Werder Bremen led 2-0 in the second half, when Aaron Hunt (Werder Bremen player) rushed into the visitors' area and stumbled. The referee Manuel Gräfe pointed out a penalty when he understood that there was a demolition and this is what happened. It was the 74th minute of the second half:

Obviously it had not been a penalty since there had been no contact from the Nurnberg defender. Aaron Hunt reacted immediately by telling the referee that it was not a penalty and the referee reversed his decision.
Unfortunately, we will never know if Aaron Hunt's reaction would have been the same if the score had been 0-0.
And this game was marked from the beginning by the healthy will of all footballers to help the referee. Already in the first minutes of the game the Japanese Nuremberg's Hiroshi Kiyotake admitted that he was the last to touch the ball when the referee hesitated between signaling a goal kick or a corner.
In any case, this player is to be thanked for the extraordinary moment he saw on the football field. Now the other players could take notice and be as honest as this one. Soccer would win.
In a sport for rogues, in which many players have gone down in history for their 'swimming pools', Aaron Hunt proved that there are still gentlemen in the world of soccer.
