His name is Jahmir Wallace and he is 10 years old. He may have been born without arms, but nothing has stopped him from achieving his dream of playing the trumpet. Jahmir plays the trumpet in the Green Street Elementary School Band.

We have already seen this condition of Jahmir several times on this blog. There we have the example of Nick Vujicic, that of this man who plays bowling without arms and without legs, that of Hirotada Ototake or that of Yu Tae-ho (the Korean boy without arms).
They are all a great example of personal growth that will always have a place in this blog.
I leave you with this poem entitled "Accept me the way I am":
Yes i am special to you
and, today I want to tell you that I can get up.
What can I learn; I am a child like the others,
look at me well, I can play, I can laugh,
I can understand
I want to give my best, I can help others,
I can walk alongside others.
Accept me the way I am…
