My mother is losing her sight and you no longer see the dirt on the kitchen floor. In your case that benefits you because it allows you to relax and not worry about every speck of dust.
Love has the same blinding and beneficial effect. It allows us to relax and it blinds us to the flaws and imperfections of others. When we decide to love, we can stop judging people and instead value their beauty. Those who love are like parents to the world or it would be better to say like grandparents, because grandparents tend to be less critical. What the world needs is a legion of loving grandparents who will restore self-esteem to each person.
What will we take with us on our last trip? It is obvious that they cannot be material things. Just as airlines establish a limit on the weight of luggage and the trunk of the car has a limited capacity, in the sky there is also a limit of space. But love does not weigh or take up space.
Love is immortal and it is not limited by the existence of the physical body. When the body disappears, our love goes with us wherever our spirit, soul and thoughts go, but it also stays in the lives of those we have loved. Love is energy and it is not limited by the laws that govern material things or by time. So you can take it with you and, at the same time, leave it.
Love is the bridge between the land of the living and the land of the dead.
