I have found a new way to meditate… and it works for me!

Before telling you about this new way of meditating that I have found, let me put this discovery in context.

I'm having a hard time. There is no denying it, nor do I feel like hiding it.

This blog was born back in 2010 as a result of a bad streak that was happening. As a result of that bad streak came this way of obtaining income and helping more people.

The problem is that it has not been an author's blog, that is, a blog of those that are 100% identified with the person who writes. I opted for SEO (search engine optimization) and give the audience those articles that they searched the most in Google: self-help books, positive thoughts,…

I have written articles translated from other pages in English although it is also true that I have written posts with my thoughts and reflections.

Now I'm going to try to give this blog a change.

I'm going to start writing just what I feel like writing and that I think will bring something meaningful to the audience that can improve their life.

In a way, I already started yesterday. Researching American personal development blogs I found a very recurring article in many of them entitled "Love letter to myself". What happens that this time I did not translate any article (there are small parts that yes). 95% of that letter is his own. You can read it here.

That was the beginning of the blog change.

However, the day was not over. I wrote it in the morning.

At the end of the afternoon, and after about 15.000 steps walked (I have a pedometer), I went to relax in the spá. Well, before I called it relaxing, now I call it meditating.

Every time I go to the spa I meditate. It's a fantastic place. Imagine something similar to the photo below (although not so elegant, lol).

a new way of meditating

As soon as you get into the warm water, your mind and body change automatically. The pains you may have disappear and your mind goes into a brutal state of relaxation.

There are stainless steel loungers submerged half a meter from the water. You lie down, you hit a button and they turn into a hammocks-jacuzzi.

When they stop releasing air (bubbles), I turn around and there, submerged in the hot water and lying on the lounger, I begin to meditate.

How do I meditate?

I always focus on the most serious problem that is disturbing the mind that day. I think in the following way:

- Now we are going to solve this on a mental level. The problem will still be there when I get out of the pool but it won't affect me as much on a mental level.

The letter I wrote yesterday has changed my mental state.

When you write such a letter, you adopt a paternal-maternal role with yourself. You start talking to yourself as if you were a small child who must be protected and offered the best advice for him. Advice that they know will serve them well. Advice that in life would occur to you in a normal state.

Yet there, on the sun lounger on the spá, you start talking to your little self. You start giving him advice ... and believe me, it's much more therapeutic than yesterday's letter.

So I stayed for about 30 minutes.
A full-blown meditation session and, from my point of view, much more effective than those taught elsewhere.

You just have to look for that place that makes you feel good or at least relaxes you. If it is an isolated place better. Once you've found it, start talking to your little self. Let your mind adopt the role of father-mother and begin to give you the best advice it would offer to a child you love.

It has helped me a lot ... and the good thing is that the effect is long-lasting. Today I woke up with this chip, my paternal-maternal mind "speaks" to me from time to time and guides me on the right path.

Try it and I hope it is as useful to you as it is being for me.

What a good method you have found.
I feel like if you allow it, animator regarding the letter that also helps our inner child, is to write to our parents making our claim with the left hand
This is very liberating to heal us.
    Thanks for this space.
