Álex Rovira and his reflections on the future

Alex Rovira has granted to make this video that you are going to see to an organization called What, an organization that I don't know exactly what it does or what it wants, but its website is quite interesting and there are very interesting videos on it.

Álex Rovira reflects on the crisis we are experiencing, what has caused it and on how do you see the future, which institutions and financial systems will disappear.

The economic crisis, according to Álex, is the consequence of a ethical crisis. Although he holds governments responsible, I believe that each and every one of us has a great responsibility since we were the ones who we wanted to buy a BMW when we didn't even have the money for a Seat Panda. Governments acted badly by allowing banks to borrow without limit, but our greed played an important role.

Álex also talks about the change that must take place in each one of us to build a more humane society. This change goes through be more empathetic cultivating "love." Undoubtedly, in this sense, Eastern philosophy is years ahead of us.

In my opinion, this change must be focused on The education. I think that schools, universities and the family should spend much more time instilling values in a more direct way, educating emotions (learning to manage them), teaching meditation, financial education, ... These types of aspects should be regulated subjects with all that this implies (curriculum, evaluation, ...)

I leave you with this interesting video. It is a great pleasure to listen to Álex Rovira:
