I used to be terrible when it came to make excuses. I'm still working on it. Once you stop doing something because of an unfounded excuse (just to get rid of your responsibility) you start to create a habit in your life that can be counterproductive to the achievement of your interests. You can become a true master of excuses.
If you want to take charge of your life and face your work with determination and motivation, you must admit that excuses have no foundation whatsoever. They are an obstacle for your personal growth.
Examples of excuses
"I can't have a better job because I'm not worth it"
"I can't lose weight because I don't have time to exercise"
"I shouldn't talk to that person because I don't like him", etc ...
The basic structure is as follows:
"I can't do {something I want} because I think {something is limiting me}."
We are talking about limiting beliefs that are controllable. You can change the way you think.
There is a video of Tony Robbins which comes in handy for this type of subject. I leave you with the video: (do not forget to activate the subtitles in Spanish)
