Joyce Haigh is 79 years old and finally they have removed a huge tumor on her neck that accompanied her for 20 years. But don't think they took it off for aesthetics, no ... they took it off because it started to bleed.
Ms. Haigh said she did not seek any treatment because she was afraid: «I know I should have done something about the tumor before, but it didn't give me any pain and I was ashamed to say that I was afraid of doctors ».

On October 13, Mr. Haigh insisted that his wife go to the doctor because the tumor was starting to bleed.
Ms. Haigh said: “I saw Mr. Quraishi before Christmas and he was wonderful. He showed me the photos of the side view of the bump. It was at that moment that I realized how bad it was ».
«I was scared by the operation but in reality everything went well. They took two biopsies and although I will need additional treatment, I am very happy that the lump is gone and because no one stares at me anymore«.
"I intend to go back to being normal again, buy new clothes and enjoy life."
Mr. Quraishi said: «In my entire 20-year medical career, I can honestly say that I have never seen or treated such a large tumor ».
