In this short video, the composer Johnnyrandom explains to us how as a child he associated the sound of his bicycle with a state of freedom. Johnnyrandom was inspired by these childhood memories and he rode his own bicycle to compose music with which he tries to capture that same feeling of freedom. Johnnyrandom ends the video by inviting us to look more curiously at the objects around us and perhaps discover other more creative uses for them:

In the video, he can be seen using brake levers to make a percussive click, releasing air from a valve to create a hiss, and even using the bike's spokes as stringed instruments. Discover unique and creative sounds that are generated naturally on bicycles and its various components. It does this without using synthesizers or drum machines. The result is spectacular.
Of course, anything can be used to make sounds. Perhaps many of these sounds may not be pleasant to the ear. But with a little ingenuity and fine-tuning, a beautiful melody can emerge. This is simply art.
