I'm going to leave you a list with 9 exercises or activities that will improve your personal development. You will only get positive results if you commit to doing them:

1) Read books on personal development

You can find all the books you need in a public library. Select those authors who have a reputation.

Your reading will take you to a highly motivated status And that's why I recommend that as soon as you read something that motivates you, be it a word, phrase or a story, start doing something you always wanted to do. You will feel good and this is only the beginning.

Do this as many times as you can and you will accomplish more in a single day than most people in a month.

2) Do you have a role model or mentor to inspire you?

We all have someone we look up to. Sometimes just mentioning his name or seeing him provokes us very positive emotions. If you admire someone a lot, you will have found an excellent model that will serve as a guide to improve.

The best way to get the most out of your model is to find everything about that person. What do you like? Where do you get the energy from? Where are you from? Have you had a life-changing experience?

Start looking for answers in magazines, newspapers, books, and the Internet. Ideally, you could meet that person.

3) Listen to audiobooks on personal development.

You can replace the music you listen to in the car with one of these audiobooks or you can even listen to it while you exercise. I recommend this article: Read 180 books a year.

You can listen to the audiobook when you feel low or unproductive.

4) Reduce the time you spend watching television.

I believe that more than 75% of the programs or shows that appear on screen are a complete waste of time and have nothing to do with useful activities that will enhance your personal development.

Another different thing is if you find a personal development seminar. You will acquire knowledge and you will feel in a more positive and motivated state.

Remember: if you are not on the other side of the screen, you are probably wasting your time.

5) Get up early.

Of all the activities that enhance personal development, getting up early is one of the most important. It makes you feel good about yourself and you feel like you've accomplished more in that day.

6) Join or be part of a group of positive people.

There are many social activities that you can join and you will surely meet active and positive people: dance classes, aerobics, ...

7) Define your goals.


Of all the activities that enhance personal development, taking the time to set your most important goals is crucial.

Write your most desired 15 goals, the 15 things you most want to do or have. Ask yourself what do you really want to have in the next 3-12 months. What do you want to do right now?

Make sure you pick the 15 most important goals. To do this, I suggest you write 40. Then select 15 of them.

Once you have them clear, set some sub-goals for each objective. I suggest that you set 10 sub-goals for each objective. A sub-goal is an activity that will help you achieve your main goal.

8) Learn to give before you receive.

To improve your personal development you need to practice this universal law. People who give before they receive are more successful in life.

9) Avoid negative people.

This represents one of the activities that either enhances your personal development or destroys it. These types of people tend to drag you down with them.
