There are many youth clubs. I'm sure none of them are as promising as this one.

The prestigious international conference event called TED wants to open its doors to young students. Among our children are the future Einsteins: the person who will discover a treatment to cure any type of cancer, the person who will be able to find an effective treatment to combat the most contagious diseases, etc.

TED wants to give their space to these types of students who have something interesting to tell and that is why they have created a learning platform to learn to give lectures and express the great idea or approach to life that we all have within us. Better that you watch the video where they explain it much better than me and also give you a dose of extra motivation to be part of this new TED platform:

This initiative is aimed at students between the ages of eight and 18. Students form groups and each group investigates on a certain topic: the effect of laughter on someone who is sad, the danger and excitement of mountain biking, the reason humans need so much sleep, the idea of infinity ...

It involves each group working around an idea, learning to research it, and presenting it at a TED-style conference.

TED-Ed Clubs are designed to create a generation of creative people who will learn to find solutions to the world's problems. Are you interested in creating a TED-Ed Club at your school? More information here
