A naturalist photographer was visiting Noakhali, Bangladesh, and was able to witness how a teenager, risking his life, saved a small fawn from drowning.
The river was having a flood and the current was strong. The boy went into the river holding the deer above his head. The water came to cover him completely but he was still holding the fawn.
The photographer, Hasib Wahab, said that the people who were witnessing this amazing event were concerned about the possibility of the current carrying the child:
"My friend was ready to jump into the river and help the boy."Wahab told Grind TV. But the boy did it and when he came back he thanked the boy. There were only five or seven people observing this situation. It was fantastic".
Wahab said that local people lose a large number of deer in the rainy season and are forced to do everything possible to protect them, such as resort to the extreme measures of this teenager named Belal.
Quickly, the frightened fawn went to reunite with his family.
