On April 16, 1889, one of the greatest movie stars that has ever existed was born: Charles spencer chaplin.
The son of a mother suffering from serious depression that ended his life at 63 years of age and of an alcoholic father who died at 34 years of cirrhosis. He went through numerous orphanages as his mother was frequently admitted to mental sanatoriums. His childhood was exceptionally poor.
