Worldwide, 13% of people aged 60 and over require long-term care. Between 2010 and 2050, the total number of older people in need of care will almost triple. It is a data from the World Alzheimer Report 2013.
Almost all policies focus on the sick person, and that's fine with me. But we must also do an effort to help the caregivers of these patients who have no training and find a problem that overcomes them. It is the duty of governments to dedicate the necessary effort to help these people.
