Their names are Bill and Gladys. They have been married for 50 years.
Nine years ago Glad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Bill became her full-time caregiver. However, he doesn't see it as a burden. He bathes her, dresses her, brushes her hair, makes-up, feeds her ... He considers it a privilege:
"I am not a hero, I am simply a lover"
What I liked the most, apart from the beautiful demonstration of love, is the curious bicycle that he has prepared. It would not be bad if they sold bicycles of this style. It would be very useful for people with Alzheimer's and the disabled in general.
Bill is keeping the promise they made to each other on the day they got married: love and care for each other in sickness and in health, for better or worse. Hopefully soon they will look for an effective solution to cure Alzheimer's or at least find a treatment that will stop the progression of the disease.

k wonderful and enviable the love of that man I hope there are many of those and they do not abandon the loved one just because they are sick.
